Blue Collar Trading Manual Review

As a veteran trader in the stock and commodity markets, I get to review alot of new trading material that comes into the market place each year. Almost every month, I see a slew of new trading systems, newsletters, commodity trading techniques, “secret” technical analysis methods, and tons of hype surrounding a new software program that professes to be the next “Holy Grail” of trading. Sadly, 99.9% of these releases never live up to the incredible hype surrounding their launch and leaves many aspiring traders feeling more helpless in confronting the markets as well as lighter in the wallet. Personal experience has shown me that the more effective trading techniques are never found in the ad pages of Investor’s Business Daily but by less publicized work from experienced traders. One of these works is the Blue Collar Trading Manual by Billy Williams over at StockOptionSystem.Com.

I ran across this site after reading some trading articles on online stock trading at one of the article directories on the web while waiting for the markets to open. One of the articles on selecting momentum stocks caught my attention and I noticed it was written by a trader named Billy Williams, owner of the StockOptionSystem.Com. Later, when the markets had closed for the day, I went to his website to check it out. I read his articles posted there as well as his blog entries and was impressed with his market commentary and stock selection. His market analysis was spot on and impressed me which is not easy to do.

I then ran across the sales letter for the Blue Collar Trading Manual and read thru it deciding to purchase in part because of the bullet points but also because I had confidence that the author was a real trader after reading his blog and articles. After so many years in the trading trenches, I can tell a real trader from just an information peddler trying to make a buck and, besides, the Blue Collar Trading Manual comes with a six month back guarantee so I knew I could get my money back.

The manual comes with two bonuses and all of them are in are PDF format so I easily downloaded them within seconds of payment and began reading it off the computer not knowing if this was just going to be a rehash of old technical patterns or what. As I read about his failings at his beginning as a trader (which reminded me a lot of my own) he detailed how he statistically refines his edge in trading the stock and option markets to increase his winning percentage and lower the probability for losses. After, reading that he got my attention in a big way!

He then detailed many of his methods and trading techniques for selecting the best stocks for large upswings, momentum stock trading, a simple option trading strategy that consistently brings in money almost every week, possibly the best system for spotting turns in the market that I have ever seen, and a lot more. Even more, if you have any trading experience, you will be able to tell that this was written by a trader who has more than had his knocks in the market and that the success he enjoys now is in large part because of the lessons he has had to learn from those knocks.

However, the manual is not without its flaws. Namely, this work was written by an accomplished trader but now a professional writer. Its not Shakespeare but if you more concerned with the value of the content then that should not be an issue. If your a student of the game then you will find that this material adds value to your own knowledge and trading.

In addition, the material assumes that the reader has some basic understanding of trading jargon and price patterns. The author is very upfront in the introduction that he does not want to waste the reader’s time on alot of filler about technical analysis and the like when they can just Google search that material for free on the internet. He wants to impart the “meat” of his methods without alot of fluff in between the points he is trying to make. While I can appreciate that as a veteran trader myself if you are an absolute beginner make sure you are aware of it so that you don’t feel too lost.

In conclusion, I felt compelled to write about this trading manual as I think it is a real gem of practical information and I predict that the author will be recognized one day as a true expert in the industry. If you are really serious about learning more and improving your trading skills then I highly recommend adding this work to your library before word gets out and the Blue Collar Trading Manual becomes a lot more expensive than it is now
